Health Wildcatters has launched the latest cohort of healthcare startups, bringing its total number of portfolio companies to 109 in the 11th year for the accelerator.
Of the 10 healthcare startups in the latest cohort, 60% are women-led. In addition to the U.S., they represent Chile, Bangladesh, Venezuela, South Africa, Germany, Colombia, Spain, and Nigeria, according to a press release.
“I am proud to see such a diverse group of startups choose to partner with us here at Health Wildcatters,” said Hubert Zajicek, CEO and co-founder of the accelerator, in the release. “We continue to attract top talent to Texas and I believe that trend is accelerating for health-innovation focused startups.”
