CardioOne, a startup built at Redesign Health, partners with independent cardiology practices to help them transition to value-based care. On Monday, the company announced it has raised $8 million in seed funding and has three new partners.

A new startup named Uptiv Health launched to make infusion care more accessible and enjoyable for patients. The company, which was built at Redesign Health, is launching its flagship infusion center later this month in the Detroit area.

Peppermint is an “online clubhouse community” for adults aged 55 and older that allows them to connect with others through online clubs (like for traveling or gardening), workshops (like for nutrition or photography) and collaboration (where members can work together on activities like creating a recipe book). It aims to reduce loneliness by creating a sense of community and purpose for older adults, Peppermint’s CEO said.

Syntax Health’s new two-sided software-as-a-service solution allows payers and providers (as well as actuaries, network managers and analysts) to collaborate in creating a value-based contract.

Women’s healthcare platform Iron Health recently launched with a mission to decrease the fragmentation of women’s care and provide OB/GYNs with a more full-spectrum view of their patients’ health. Iron also announced a $4.5 million seed investment round led by March of Dimes’ innovation fund.

Fort Health, a new startup built at Redesign Health, recently launched as a provider of mental healthcare services for children. The company has developed a telehealth-based mental health clinic that partners with pediatricians for referrals and health plans for coverage.

Motto is the latest startup built at Redesign Health. The startup is virtual care platform that is now available for Californians and Texans with autoimmune and chronic inflammatory conditions. It seeks to increase access to care by offering virtual appointments with rheumatologists, condition management services and lifestyle coaching on its telehealth platform.

Redesign Health, a company that creates healthcare startups, closed a $65 million Series C funding round. The company has already built more than 40 startups — such as cancer care technology provider Jasper Health, home health company MedArrive and weight loss startup Calibrate.
