Cartwheel, a startup that partners with school districts to provide virtual mental health services, raised $20 million in Series A funds. The company is working with about 50 school districts and charter school networks across Massachusetts, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Daybreak Health — a startup that partners with school districts to provide children with virtual mental health services — recently closed a $13 million Series B funding round. The company has partnered with more than 60 public school districts since it began providing care in 2019.

CVS Health invested $25 million in Array Behavioral Care, a provider of virtual mental health care. Last year, Array’s clinicians had more than 400,000 encounters with patients.

The funding round was led by Town Hall Ventures. Brave Health is primarily focused on providing mental health services for those on Medicaid, a rarity for mental health providers.
