Medicine Cabinet, a new solution by GoodRx, gives users reminders to take their medications and refill prescriptions and recommends pharmacies based on prescription costs. It also has a rewards system for using GoodRx coupons and picking up prescriptions on time.

CVS Caremark, GoodRx Launch Program To Lower Drug Costs
CVS Caremark and GoodRx created a new program called Caremark Cost Saver, which will become available starting January 1, 2024. Through the program, eligible CVS Caremark commercially insured members will have access to GoodRx’s prescription pricing on generic medications.

GoodRx Illegally Sold Users’ Data to Google & Facebook, FTC Says
GoodRx failed to notify users that it sold their personal health information to Google, Facebook and other tech companies, the FTC claimed. The agency filed an order that prohibits GoodRx from sharing its users’ data with third parties for advertising purposes and requires the company to pay a $1.5 million penalty. GoodRx agreed to pay the settlement but did not admit to wrongdoing.
